As part of the Meso Innovation Alliance, the Center is involved in the Innovation Booster Future Urban Society (FUS). The four-year booster aims to lift social innovations out of the niche and into the mainstream

As part of the kick-off event, the FUS team presented the booster and the two challenges "Climate-friendly living in urban areas" and "Circulation of things". Jonas Fricker, Project Manager for Climate Protection at the City of Zurich, will give a brief interim report on the Net Zero 2040 project. Caroline Paulick-Thiel (Director of Politics For Tomorrow and co-initiator of 10x100) will provide food for thought: in a keynote speech, she will talk about internationally proven approaches for the impact and dissemination of social innovations and present inspiring models for transformation work in collaboration with civil society, the public sector, business, research, and politics.

Initial ideas can be exchanged and contacts made at the drinks reception afterward.

The event is open to social innovators and potential challenge participants, project partners, and anyone involved or interested in the field of eco-social innovation.
